How long will it take to complete the repairs?

We try to complete most repairs the same day. If this is not possible, we will let you know well in advance.

How much will it cost?

We will provide a full written estimate prior to completing your repair. Our door rate is comparable to other independent shops in the area. We do charge a convenience fee of $25-$100 which varies depending on circumstances

My car is running rough. Do I need a tune-up?

Let us come check out your vehicle, rough running can be as simple as needing a throttle body service, tune up, or you could need further diagnosis

Is there a charge to check out my car?

Yes, we have a minimum diagnostic charge of $60+Convenience fee to come check out your vehicle. This includes 30 min of technician time, if we need to go over 30 min we will let you know before we proceed.

Do I need an appointment for a repair?

Technically yes, but give us a call and we may have an opening to look at your vehicle right away.

What credit cards do you take?

We are partnered with Square and can take most major credit cards.

Why does my car need maintenance if it's running fine?
Regular maintenance of your vehicle protects your investment, helps to prevent breakdowns, and will save you on the cost of repairs in the future.
What will happen if I don't have the repairs done right now?

We will provide you an estimate for repairs needed, We will discuss what needs to be addressed immediately and what can wait.

What Should I Do When My Check Engine Lights Come On?

First step would be to check your gas cap, if that is tight, give us a call and we can come hook your vehicle up to our scan tool and perform a full diagnostic check.

How Often Should I Have My Brakes Checked?

The Kootaneys has a lot of hills and brakes tend to wear out fast here.  We recommend getting a brake check with every service.

What Type of Oil Filter Do I Need?

When you book a service with us we will provide a premium aftermarket oil filter , you can request a factory filter for an addition cost.

Do I Really Need Winter Tires?

Yes, Winter tires have many benefits over all season tires.
